Emma Kate Few crowned Jr. Miss Atlanta 2010

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 4, 2009 -- August 22, 2009 -- Emma Kate Few of Augusta, Georgia was crowned Jr. Miss Atlanta 2010. She also won the title of Atlanta's Most Talented 2010. She performed a musical theatre piece from the musical "Oklahoma!" by Rodgers and Hammerstein. Although Emma Kate is only 11 years old she has choreographed many performances for herself and others. She enjoys working with other local students and designs dances to fit their talent level.

She will spend her year promoting the importance of youth volunteerism-making a difference in the community at every age! Emma Kate is enthusiastic when asked about her platform "I think everyone at any age has something to share. I may not be able to help build a home at Habitat for Humanity but I can help serve food at our local soup kitchen and organize cans of food at the Golden Harvest Food Bank. I really enjoy visiting the nursing homes in my area and singing with the residents. I believe God wants us to care for each other and volunteering is an easy way to start!"

Emma Kate is currently studying dance and musical theatre at Davidson Fine Arts School in Augusta, Georgia. She is also the reigning Jr. Miss Walton County.
