Emmy Award Winning Actor, Joe Mantegna, to host “’Round the World in 18 Holes” Golf Classic at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon

The Riverside County EDA is planning the first golf tournament called ‘Round the World in 18 Holes Golf Classic, to benefit the not-for-profit Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens in Beaumont, California.

Beaumont, CA: County of Riverside Supervisor Marion Ashley and the Economic Development Agency are pleased to announce an inaugural golf tournament to benefit the Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens in Cherry Valley, California. “We are very pleased and excited to have Joe Mantegna hosting and playing in this first annual Golf Tournament to benefit Riverside County’s Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens,” stated 5th District Supervisor Marion Ashley. “We believe Joe Mantegna’s participation will greatly increase support for this one-of-a-kind Museum.” Star of the successful television crime series, Criminal Minds, the award winning actor has had an illustrious career starring in such movies as The Rat Pack, Elvis & Annabelle, and Cars2, which culminated with receiving a Star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame in 2011. “Joe Mantegna will be bringing his celebrity “cool factor” to the Inland Empire for this first annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens,” said Assistant County Executive Officer/EDA Rob Field.

A “Stay & Play” package, combining the Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens Fall Gala, an overnight stay at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, and 18 holes of golf at the “’Round the World in 18 Holes” Golf Tournament at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont, CA, is being offered in support of the museum’s programs, which helps to provide local school children with tours designed at enriching the knowledge of European & Asian decorative arts and cultural diversity. Within just a few short miles of each other, the “Stay & Play” package will allow attendees to enjoy themselves, while supporting a worthy cause.

The Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens Fall Gala event will be held on Thursday, October 20th. While the “’Round the World in 18 Holes” Golf Tournament will be held the following day, on Friday, October 21st.
