(May 20, 2010, Jersey City, NJ) WorryWoos creator Andi Green announced today she will be doing a signing at the Book Expo America convention this May in New York City. Book Expo America is the largest nationwide show for book professionals and regularly has between 20,000 and 30,000 attendees. Andi will be in the Autographing Session area on Wednesday May 26, 2010 from 2:30pm-3:00pm at Table 25. She will be signing as well as giving away 50 free copies of
The Monster In The Bubble ( ISBN 978-0979286025). The WorryWoos product line is available online at www.worrywoos.com or in independent boutiques.
“I am so excited to get to meet everyone,” explained Ms. Green. “We have had such great support from everyone from librarians to art therapists. The Woos are such a great way to start conversations between children and adults on topics that are often akward and uncomfortable. It’s one thing if you talk about a broken chair. That’s something everyone can visualize. Sadness, loneliness, confusion; not so easy! I encourage everyone to come out and see the books at the Midpoint Book Trade booth as well. Midpoint Trade booth # is 4404.

About The WorryWoos: Good design captures an essence or feeling in pen and ink and lets the viewer make sense of even the most complex concept. At her 2001 art exhibition WorryWoos creator Andi Green did just that with her creation of characters that embody complicated emotions. From loneliness to confusion, she began tackling complicated feelings and transformed them into quirky, loveable characters. The positive response was so great that in 2007 this one woman dynamo was able to launch her own book and plush product line to rave reviews. Winning numerous awards and being featured on nationwide television the WorryWoos have been embracing hearts and minds while healing others and will be welcoming a new character to the product line Summer 2010.
