EMT International, Inc. was voted as the winner of the 2011 Manufacturing Awards of Distinction for Northeast Wisconsin and was presented with a trophy from the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce to honor the achievement.

The Manufacturing Awards of Distinction is designed to give special recognition to companies who have achieved excellence in manufacturing. The program is open to manufacturers in Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Oconto and Shawano counties. Award categories are based on company size, length of time in business, use of high technology, and exporting.

“This award is not for me, but for the company. It is the efforts of all of the employees at EMT that were recognized by the judges as deserving of this recognition,” said Paul Rauscher, President of EMT International. “I want to thank all of our employees for the contributions that made this award possible. It was a very proud moment to accept the award on behalf of all of them.”

With this achievement, EMT International is now in the running to be nominated for the statewide Manufacturer of the Year award.
