January 12, 2010. A group of over 500 artists who create their works based on the concepts of energism today announced the formation of a facebook group to provide information on their art movement and a venue for posting energism art images.

Energist artists seek to go beyond simply representing positive energy they believe underlies and interconnects our world. They strive to create artwork that helps the viewer tap directly into this energy and experience a myriad of benefits from this connection.

The group is open both to artists who wish to post their energism inspired works for comment and appreciation and for art lovers who wish to view these works.

A major contributor and promoter of the energism art movement, artist Julia Watkins and her husband Spencer Kluesner currently manage the group. Artist David Heatwole has also been a strong long-time promoter of the movement dating back to 1998. According to Kluesner “This art movement has really come into the limelight as a result of the movie Avatar.” “While there is no connection between the two, the concepts of interconnected energy found in each are uncannily similar.”
