EnergyCAP, Inc. Announces New Company Chaplain and Continuation of the Weekly Word Email
Energy management software publisher EnergyCAP, Inc. (ECI) has announced a new company chaplain and continuation of the “Weekly Word” email.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 13, 2010 --Energy management software publisher EnergyCAP, Inc. (ECI) has announced a new company chaplain and continuation of the "Weekly Word" email. ECI has hired Vic King, a licensed counselor and church pastor, as its new chaplain. Mr. King replaces Chris S. Heinz as the previous chaplain, who started the position in 2007. Heinz will continue to send his devotional email called the Weekly Word.
“Thousands of public and private organizations, from the United States Congress and each branch of the Armed Forces, to universities, hospitals and Fortune 1000 corporations, have chaplains to support their constituents. We think this is a good idea, so our company has a chaplain too.” said Steve Heinz, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EnergyCAP, Inc.
The company chaplain program, which is part of ECI’s Corporate Social Responsibility Department, is voluntary for all employees. Mr. King will lead a weekly prayer meeting for employees, be available for counseling, and host the chaplain’s breakfast at ECI’s annual training conference. Mr. King will also receive prayer requests at chaplain (at) energycap.com.
The Weekly Word is a free devotional-style email. Now in its third year, the Weekly Word began as an encouragement to employees, but quickly grew to include company clients and the public. At www.weeklyword.net, readers can sign up for the Weekly Word and read past messages.
