(Free-Press-Release.com) November 25, 2009 --The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway is running its famous Santa Special - a journey on a traditional steam train which takes you to meet Father Christmas in his grotto.
Families will board the train at Toddington to travel to the historic market town of Winchcombe, where Santa and his elves will be waiting to greet the passengers.
Children will get to enter Santa's grotto and receive a gift from him, while their parents can enjoy a mince pie and hot or cold refreshments.
It could be the perfect day out for people staying in Cotswolds hotels in the run-up to Christmas, with its festive atmosphere and the promise of presents, children are bound to be entertained and leave happy.
Anyone looking for other attractions in the area may be tempted to visit the Sudeley Castle, which can be found just outside Winchcombe.

The festive train service runs from December 5th to December 24th, with a number of trips each day.
Trains leave at 10:15, 11:45, 13:30 and 15:00 every day, with an additional 16:30 service running on December 19th, 20th and 23rd.
