About the Author: Los Angeles native Darryl Dawson debuts his mastery of the macabre with Crawlspace. He developed his taste for the bizarre at an early age by watching the television series “Night Gallery.” Dawson graduated from Narbonne High School with honors and attended California State University, Long Beach. After brief gigs as a disc jockey in Redding, Calif., and Reno, Nev., he moved to Phoenix in 1996, where he worked as a video editor for a television station and experimented with writing. In 2004, the material for The Crawlspace began to take shape in the form of nearly 50 short stories, many of which are yet to be published.
