Talking Points: - Why did you start your own business? I had a chance to really make an impact helping others, doing something I loved to do. I decided to go for it! What began for me as a feel good hobby & life long journey, has turned an occupation of love 

- What was your biggest challenge in starting up? Getting people to try our product during this poor economy. If you try our products one time, you will become a loyal fan to Bonnie’s Balms Colorado Brand. - What is your biggest challenge now? Transitioning from a small time operation to a large National Warehouse Factory sized Operation. - Did you or do you have a complete business plan? Not a traditional business plan. Our accountant created a complete product price analysis with volume discounts figured into each product we make. From here we’ve calculated out by multiplying sales for a profit number. I highly recommend Quickbooks Enterprise for entrepreneurs looking to expand with manufacturing/distributing your products. It covers every aspect of business.
- How did you get funding? My Husband, Richard Squire. He is the founder of The Breckenridge Brewery & together we plan & create everything. I create the formula’s & first small scale process. Then Richard takes my small scale process & creates a larger process to fulfill large orders from wholesale distributors. Together with our family we can fill any order that we get!
- What is one thing you wish you knew before you started your own business? How to attract free media attention 
