Pappas, DDS to its clinical team in Downers Grove. Dr. Pappas graduated from West Virginia University with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1973 and entered private practice in Wheeling, WV. He is a graduate of the Misch Implant Institute, having completed his certification in 1987. His training continued at the University of Pittsburgh where he received his certification and specialty in Prosthodontics in 1991. Dr. Pappas’ training in cosmetics and porcelain was expanded at the Tanaka Institute of Skokie, IL where he learned the art of dental ceramics. As a ceramist, Dr. Pappas gives great attention to detail in his laboratory and is well trained in the use of dental laser, which lessens the need for the dental drill and anesthetic.

Dr. Pappas’ areas of focus are Worn Dentitions, Cosmetic Reconstruction, Dental Implants and Removable and Fixed Dentures. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and The American Dental Association. Dr. Pappas and his wife Laura have four children, Alexander, Michael, Jonathan and Theron.
