FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 8, 2009 -- Organic furniture producer Erik Organic has done it again – this time with the introduction of a brand-new tabletop design that defies normal standards and layouts.

Dubbed “Timber Edge”, the new tabletop design features something not usually seen in most tabletop designs – a table skirt that is not recessed, meaning there are no sunken edges. This revolutionary design promises to be an exciting one for the company’s current and prospective clientele.

“This breakthrough design is a great option for people who are looking for something different in their tabletops,” explains Erik Schimek, founder of the 2-year-old organic furniture production company. “The even edges of the table top make for a dramatic and vibrant touch that brings life to any dining area, without losing its classic and timeless appeal.”

Because the Timber Edge design is predicted to fare well amongst its tabletop family, this new option will be available on all dining tables; however, this can only be availed of on tabletops that are produced from 1.5”, 1.75”, or 2” hardwood, as well as only on square, rectangular, or arched tabletops.

Erik Organic is one such company that has seen steady growth since its humble beginnings. The introduction of this new design bodes well for this rapidly-growing organic furniture production company. Only entering the market in 2007, Erik Organic has since seen a growing interest in organically-produced furniture.

Their pieces, sourced from locally-made hardwood and crafted by Amish furniture makers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, Ohio, and Indiana, are slowly but steadily, gaining a solid footing into a market that has not been educated extensively on organic and environmentally-sustainable furniture.

It now offers customers a range of different dining room tables in seventeen interesting styles. The Timber Edge design promises to be a great and exciting addition to its already-colorful range of designs.

“Over the past couple of years, I am happy to say that more and more consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the high value of organic furniture,” Schimek states. “Sustainable living is a great concept that people should learn to integrate in their choice of furniture pieces. Erik Organic hopes to provide them with more opportunities to adopt this lifestyle through our furniture.”

With so many exciting and interesting designs coming out for organic furniture, it is clear that this is a niche that will soon establish a solid base in the global market. By adding extra options and features that more mainstream furniture companies offer, such as customization and new designs, organic furniture is well on its way to becoming a more appealing alternative to your usual furniture pieces.
