ERNEST ABATI JOINS DURKIN GROUP’S CORPORATE ADVISORY PRACTICE

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 1, 2010 -- PARSIPPANY, NJ – November 30, 2010 – Durkin Group today announced that Ernest Abati has joined the firm as Practice Leader for its Corporate Advisory Services business. He will be responsible for assisting clients through turnarounds, financial restructurings and refinancings as well as practice development.

Prior to joining Durkin Group, Mr. Abati was Vice President, Treasurer and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, for a $300 million publicly traded defense contractor. He was a member of its initial turnaround management team. His past experience includes senior portfolio management and workout officer positions with LaSalle Business Credit, The CIT Group and First Fidelity Bank. Prior to his career in banking, he was an accounting technician in the FBI’s White Collar Crime Division.
