Ernest Hawrish receives Juris Doctor

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 9, 2012 -- On the 17th of August, 2010, the University of Saskatchewan officially amended the law degree designation of Ernest Hawrish to that of Juris Doctor (JD). Dr. Hawrish also holds Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Arts (MA) degrees from the same University. As well, he has studied at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada and Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.

Wikipedia defines the Juris Doctor designation as a “professional doctorate and first professional graduate degree in law”. Wikipedia goes on to say that the "degree was first awarded by Harvard University in the United States in the late 19th century and was created as a modern version of the old European doctor of law degree (such as the Dottore in Giurisprudenza in Italy and the Juris Utriusque Doctor in Germany and Central Europe)."

Dr. Hawrish is Chairman, Board of Directors, of Capital Equity Holdings, a European based investor that specializes in investments into Internet related companies.
