Estate agent using Google maps to show local pub etc.

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 14, 2011 -- The implementation of Google maps API into the Capital properties website has enabled users to not only see the location of properties but also use the facility to search local amenities such as certain shops, pubs or schools in the area.

The new map function appears in a tab next to the property description and at a later date is set to include Google Street-View to allow potential homeowners the ability to see the property’s outside whilst still online. Being that Google’s Street-View can be a bit out of date, this still serves as a valuable tool and can help with finding location or giving a virtual walkthrough of the streets and parks nearby etc.

Capital properties primarily focuses on student accommodation in Cardiff and student homes so it’s likely the function will be used more for finding pubs and the local off-license, but still a worthwhile feature worth noting by other estate agents.
