The third expansion, Edge of Night, has been officially released on June 30th. Vampires, the mythical beings who live by feeding on the life of other living creatures, have begun to emerge from their ancient slumber. The term “vampire” comes from a world famous vampire story, Dracula , written in 1897. The English author, Bram Stoker, based the character Dracula on an actual person, Vlad Tepes, a cruel prince from Walacha (part of modern Romania). The definition of the name Dracula is “son of the devil or dragon”.

Classes

By default, players have been able to choose between the Mage class or the Warrior class, followed by the Paladin. Now, the Vampire will be the newest class! Vampires are known to have superhuman strength, immortality, command over animals and demons, shape shifting, and the ability to convert normal humans. But did you know that vampires can also have wings? This Vampire class can attain their demonic wings, which will also allow them to temporarily increase their attack percentage for a period of time.

New Breed of Existence

Vampires are classified as one of the best looking classes in the game. Their facial appearance, gothic avatar, and their seductive body are not the only good looking features, but their gear and attire are absolutely stunning! Equipped with their deadly sharp claws, they will surely be a force against the Warrior class in PvP. A bit of the downside is when the Vampire is surrounded, it will be difficult for them to recover their edge, as they can only attack one target at a time. Their target locking skills, known as the Shadowy Claw and Whirly Claw, are long lasting techniques that will trap the other target, causing them temporary paralysis and leaving them open for the vampire to go to work.

Skills
Two skills worth of mentioning while in combat are Fade Away and Penetration. Fade Away is useful when you and your opponent are on equal footing with BP. This skill is extremely effective if you don’t want your opponent to land the first hit on you, as it allows you to move as fast as lightning, causing your opponent to lose sight of you and miss their attack. While lurking in the shadows, you can then strike your opponent and finish them off by sucking their blood.

Penetration is an important passive skill built into the Vampire. It directly attacks your opponent’s health, regardless if they have Eudemons converged or not. Of course to prevent this abusive skill, it activates automatically at random times. Hint: If you want to keep attacking your target directly when they have Eudemons converged, use melee attacks!

Servants Born to Protect, Serve, and Die by Your Side

Once a vampire is born, it automatically converges with its loyal Blood Soul. But Vampires also have other mystical helpers, like the “Ghostly Horse” mount! Its unique look has deep royal blue flames surrounding the horse, leaving a trail of fire while it runs. Once the Blood Soul has reached Star Level 10, players are automatically able to use the skill “Soul Steed” from your Skill book. It doesn’t share any damage, but you will able to set this as your Acrobat in your Knights table. When the Blood Soul dances, it glides through the air and hops twice, followed by their flaming footsteps, showing off its beautiful look.
