FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) May 30, 2010 --
Everyone in Europe likes watching this amazing song contest which takes part in diferrent european country each year. There are a lot of good and interesting songs come out on this contest but unfortunately most of the time the best perfomances are not getting the top places because of this unfair voting system where most of the countries vote for their neighbours.Something needs to be done so best singers can get most of the votes. Please share your thoughts and tell everyone how do you feel about it and what changes should be done to make this contest more fair, more interesting and hopefully our opinions will reach the eurovision organizers and they will improve the voting system.
It was a very good perfomance by Josh Dubovie in Oslo this year and i do not think he deserved to be on the bottom of the list.He should have got into the top 10 at least.
Josh has been working hard with a team of experienced choreographers and set designers to find an exciting new way to present the song in Oslo.
Josh also admitted to having gone through quite a few different emotions regarding his participation in Europe's Favourite TV show, he adds "First of all I was just nervous at one point, now i'm taking it all on board and I intend to just have a great time, and for the audience to have a good time and hope that other countries will like our performance."
It just very sad and dissapointing that nobody voted for the uk this year.
50% jury impact
The winner was decided by a mixture of 50% televote and 50% jury. For this purpose, national juries consisting of five music industry professionals gathered in all 39 participating countries who ranked the songs in Eurovision Song Contest style, giving 12 points to their favourite song, 10 points to their second favourite, etc. The results of the five jury members were then added up and accounted for 50% of the country's votes. Those results were then combined with the televoting results.
50% jury impact was a good step forward to eradicate unfair voting but it is still not enough, maybe they need to increase it to 70% or get the juries from outside europe.http://eurovision-song-blog.blogspot.com/
