EVEN BAD PRESS IS GOOD PRESS

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 26, 2009 -- I wrote an article posted here a few days ago about owning your name in Google, which is very important if you are to make a name for yourself in the internet marketing/network marketing industry. My goal is dominate the first 4 or 5 pages of my name on Google. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t. This is my name and it only validates leadership in this industry. If you truly understand the rules of attraction marketing, then you know how important this is.

So the other day, I Google my name, I came across a blog/website on the second and sometimes even first page, of a post, where some guy (he goes by Cajun Boy) blatantly attacking Justin and I. “Cajun Boy” goes on to say:

“There are two guys from Jersey named Anthony and Justin who have failed miserably at most of the things they’ve done professionally.”
Obviously he doesn’t know anything about us, because if he did, he would know that we ran a very successful business the past 7 years. He goes on to use profanity in the post as well.

On top of that, there were 2 advertisements on the right side of Google (sponsored links) that look like this:

I Passed. Now I Rake In $2000 / Rep

Selling & Calling? Our Systems Job!
www.MyBestMoney……

We called our mentor, as we were rightfully upset at the whole situation. After all, we were working so hard to “own OUR names”, and here are 3 different people, using OUR names to draw traffic to their sites. We told him what had happened, and he said, “Wow fellas, that’s great!”. I asked him “How is that great? We have some loser bashing us and 2 other guys using our names as keywords!”

He stated, “Your are really making a big name for yourselves in this industry guys! People are writing about YOU. People are using your names as keywords! That means your names draw traffic! This kind of stuff only legitimizes you as being leaders in this industry. Keep up the good work”.

We smiled and got back to work.
