EverGlow is pleased to present information from a variety of industry sources that consider (non-electrical) emergency lighting an important life safety component. We believe that emergency lighting is most effective when both electrical and non-electrical lighting technologies are employed. Most code and life safety experts agree.

We are seeking to provide an information resource that will bring together the best information from the lighting industry and life safety industry. EverGlow believes that there is no room for commercial interests that might try to confuse consumers or describe the advantages of one lighting technology over another without describing the disadvantages.

Although economic conditions might encourage facility managers to neglect maintenance of electrical emergency lighting, or discourage them from installing non-electrical emergency lighting, EverGlow believes that it is cost effective to replace electrical exit signs with photoluminescent electrical exit signs where there is sufficient and appropriate lighting available to properly charge photoluminescent signs.
