EVO² Verizon Wireless Experience Store in San Ramon Holds Fundraiser This Saturday for Neighborhood Fire Victims

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 30, 2010 -- SAN RAMON, Calif. – July 1st, 2010 – Last week, the Litman family of San Ramon suffered a traumatic event in a home fire. They not only lost their home and possessions in the fire, but the father suffered injuries and they tragically lost their son. The EVO2 Verizon Wireless Experience Store in San Ramon will be holding a very special fundraiser for the family this Saturday and the community is invited to join together and help the Litmans rebuild their lives.

“Not only do they have the mounting funeral and medical bills from this tragic situation, but the survivors are trying to live and don’t have the basic essentials of life such as toiletries and clothing,” said Robert Marhamat, Vice President of Sales for EVO2. “We are going to be donating half of this Saturday’s profits from the San Ramon store to the family and hope that the entire community will come out and help support our fellow neighbor.”

Any donation is appreciated for the family, currently residing in a local hotel. They need the most basic of items including clothing, food, household items, toiletries and monetary donations to cover medical and funeral expenses.

“We have been helping them at the store with communications services and decided there had to be more we could do,” said Stacie Palmer, Sales Representative at the San Ramon EVO2 store. “We look forward to seeing all of the support from the community this Saturday.”

People wanting to donate can visit the EVO2 store at 2435 San Ramon Valley Boulevard, #205 in the Diablo Plaza Shopping Center near Crow Canyon Road and Interstate 680 on Saturday. The hours of the store are 10am to 8pm on Saturday and they can be reached at 925-854-1334 for more information.
