United Kingdom: Little Episodes is holding a fundraiser/auction at The Torriano Bar, in Kentish Town, on 3 June 2011.

Little Episodes is an independent press and arts production company run by artists for artists. They provide a platform for established and emerging talent, whilst raising awareness of important issues and causes.

As well as nascent artists, Little Episode members include: Sadie Frost, Carl Barat, Melvin Burgess, Nina Antonia, Adam Ant and Clint Catalyst.

Little Episodes has chosen The Torriano Bar as the venue for their Sea Dog Dance in order to lend their support to the Save The Torriano campaign. The Torriano Bar is a pub/artistic venue under threat of being turned into a block of flats.

During the Sea Dog Dance, there will be musical performances from some of Torrianos’ Raise the bar campaign musicians and a very special guest performer to duet with Carl Barat. Comedians including Trevor Lock TBC and Dave Bibby, a live auction, tombola, tattoos and professional artists collaborating on a canvas (later for sale)

Lucie Barat, founder of Little Episodes, said: “These days, the artistic and entertainment industries can generate seriously big money. While this may be palatable enough for the lucky few that get picked to ‘succeed’, it is alienating and depressing for the hoards of equally talented creatives lost in a sea of penniless artists.”
