Executive Housekeeper at Grand Millennium Dubai Receives Acclaimed Certification from US-Based Hospitality Association

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 6, 2011 -- Executive housekeeper at the Grand Millennium Dubai, Tanya Vitanova, has become a Certified Hospitality Housekeeping Executive (CHHE), a recognition of her exceptional skills awarded by the American Hotel and Lodging Association, a body renowned as the ‘voice of the lodging industry’ with some 11,000 members. The CHHE designation is considered worldwide the premier symbol of professional achievement for housekeeping executives.

A member of the pre-opening team at the hotel, Tanya becomes one of the few certified housekeepers in the Middle East region, a qualification that will be valid for five years following which she can re-examine and upgrade to a higher level of accreditation.
With a master’s degree in geography and a special interest in ecology, Tanya will be focusing on combining her enthusiasm for the environment with her career, implementing recycling and go green concepts into her remit at the Grand Millennium Dubai – an area of increasing importance to both guests and the hotel team, according to General Manager Peter Mansourian.
“Housekeeping has always been critical to the success of hospitality operations throughout the world as the most basic guest expectation of a clean room, but now green housekeeping is becoming vital, too,” he said.
