(Free-Press-Release.com) February 16, 2012 --
The autumnal abstractions created by painter Angela Cibos-Reisinger seem to grow out of an emotional focal point— a place where the rich colors and textures incubate before appearing to gain an active life of their own. Created primarily with acrylic and mixed media, the work vibrates with layers of textures, lush and enticing, and the artist’s careful combinations of color give the paintings vibrancy, celebrating the power of abstract art and introducing a certain sensuousness to the pieces. Inspired by the expansiveness of nature unfurled, Cibos-Reisinger’s process embraces freedom and space as she intuitively applies swaths of paint to create her own environments. This ambiance transcends her canvas and places the viewer within a painterly realm, affecting the awareness of one’s inner and outer environments concurrently. Her warm fields of yellows and reds entice viewers with an affectionate glow, calling out with the evocative powers of pure color and providing a landscape created by the seeds of memory that exist in the mind of the audience.
Angela Cibos-Reisinger currently works in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
