FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 2, 2010 --In a recent episode of The Early Show on CBS, several large scale outdoor amusement products were featured, including a product called “Monkey Motion” which is manufactured by Extreme Engineering . Extreme Engineering is an amusement product company which operates out of Newcastle, CA. Their product, Monkey Motion , was tried out by Dave Price, a television personality from the show.
Several large scale toys were showcased as a part of the Early Show’s Spring Fling episode, which featured laser taggers used by the armed services, a jumping toy developed by NASA to help re-strengthen the bones of astronauts, and Extreme Engineering’s “Monkey Motion,” which was described by the host as “a bungee jump without the bungee.” This toy can operate for up to four jumpers at one time , and propels users up to 18 feet into the air.
Dave Price tried out Monkey Motion in the middle of New York City in front of the Early Show’s morning crowd. He flipped, bounced and jumped to the cheers of onlookers, as seen in this video clip from the episode.
Extreme Engineering’s jumper system uses a patented fiberglass pole technology. The “Mobile Monkey Motion" product was awarded "Best New Product" in the entertainment industry by the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions). The Monkey Motion allows participants to soar up to 18 feet (5.48 meters) in the air, and is the only kind on the market to not use bungee cords. Four jumpers can enjoy the toy at one time with the use of a wireless remote control.
