Facebook-Born “Awesome Women Hub” Releases “Fearless” Music Video

Tampa, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) May 24, 2011 -- The Awesome Women Hub, with a force of over 15,000 active members that started as a Facebook page only a year ago, releases the first music video as part of their “What the World Needs Next Tour” which kicked off May 7th. A rapidly growing grass-roots movement, the tour is bringing women together from the virtual community for two days of inspiration and creative action across the nation. During the two days, women experienced a globally-focused “RE-Think Tank” that culminated in a collaboratively created music video to be shared virally.

The tour, the brainchild of Awesome Women Hub Founder Robin Rice, was a natural next step for the Facebook-born organization – which focuses on promoting feminine models of business engagement. These models include the concept that collaboration can supersede competition, especially when using social media and that new media can be used to grow awareness around causes that are important to women.

The “What the World Needs Next Tour” is for women of all ages, sizes, backgrounds and professions who have a desire to re-vision the world and then learn how to use social media to share their messages. With songs donated for each video, the primary purpose of the tour is to capture the world vision and powerful energy of the hub’s members, many of whom are business owners and community leaders. Claudia Carawan gifted the Awesome Women Hub Tour her original song “Fearless” for use at the inaugural weekend.

“We are at cross-roads in just about every area of life in our world, and women often feel there is nothing they can do to change it,” notes Rice, an internationally published author. “That may have been true a few years ago, but the Internet has changed everything. Used in community, we can put immense power behind our voices.”

The “What the World Needs Next Tour” hits New York City the weekend of June 18th & 19th at Pearl Studios on Eighth Avenue. Additional tour stops include Seattle, Nashville, New England, Central Florida and Los Angeles in 2011, with cities around the world being scheduled for 2012.
