Fantasy Author Robin Coe Gears Up to Write a New Novel: Invites Readers to Watch in its Creation

Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) December 26, 2011 -- The author of Amazon Bestseller “Fly on the Wall” and “Book of Wrath” is gearing up to write her next book. The book is about a character that dumpster-dives potions and magical items on a parallel universe. She's inviting readers to watch the creation process.

Author Robin Coe writes science fiction and fantasy with metaphysical and political undertones. In 2004, she documented the NoRNC protests in New York City. Afterword, she hitched a ride on a bus with one of the Food Not Bombs founders, Keith McHenry. Earth First members were also on that bus.

“That was one of my first experiences with dumpster-diving. We stopped at a summer festival to glean whatever leftovers vendors were throwing away,” Coe said.

Coe said her experiments with dumpster-diving continued. She furnished her house, paid the bills and fed herself all from items she found in the dumpster.

“I felt like a pirate digging up treasure. I was also into ideas of Abundance then. I started a magical creation box in which I put pictures of things I wanted to find. Amazingly, I found whatever I put in the box. This book is based on that feeling of magic. It's meant to be a fun experiment in metaphysical ideas.

Coe is inviting readers to watch the creation process of the book she's dubbed “Dumpster Love” on Goodreads. She's also inviting people to help her find a more appropriate name for the book.
