Farmer's Market BPA-Free Cans Available in Stores

Corvallis, Oregon, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 28, 2011 -- Corvallis, OR - In July 2011, Farmer’s Market Foods launched a BPA-FREE liner in all of its canned packaging. The move was in response to a growing concern over Bisphenol-A or BPA. The chemical has been linked to various health disorders in animals. In light of recent research about BPA and its potential effects on human health, Farmer’s Market elected to be proactive and find a safer solution that wouldn’t compromise the quality of our products.

The new packaging reflects the company’s core values in sustainability and innovation. Farmer’s Market is constantly adapting to be on the cutting edge and incorporate innovative technologies that improve our products, the environment, and human health.

Over the course of the last year, I’ve made it my mission to make MUCH healthier choices where my husband’s and my life style are concerned. I’ve lost 70 lbs., gotten off all diabetic/heart/blood pressure and a slew of other medications while my husband has lost 30 lbs. and lowered his triglycerides by a whopping 350 points! We LOVE pumpkin pie! I picked up a can of Farmer’s Market canned pumpkin and had another can of a popular retail brand of canned pumpkin (one pie for us and one for my in-laws for Thanksgiving). I made the two pies (using a fabulous recipe that is sugar free, fat-free, but absolutely delicious!) exactly according to the recipe for both. The ONLY difference between the two pies was the brand of canned pumpkin. The difference in taste, however, was night and day! The pie made with Farmer’s Market Organic canned pumpkin was outrageously delicious!! It was rich yet light, had a natural sweetness and was just divine! Really-it was the best we’ve ever had in our lives!!! The pie made with the “popular retail brand” (compared to the first one) was mediocre and paled in comparison!! My in-laws still thought it was good, but when my husband and I arrived home, his first question was, “What on EARTH did you do differently to OUR pie?? It was SO much better!”!! We had another piece of our pie made with your fabulous organic pumpkin (the day after I made it and we had our first pieces) and would you believe it the pie tasted even BETTER!!!! We have found that eating healthier and organically IS better for us – our skin, nails and hair look better, our digestion is much better, our energy & sense of
“well-being” is better and our blood tests are much improved – but everything tastes so much better! The difference between the two pies I made is HUGE!! I will NEVER again go back to the “other” brand (or any other unnatural/non-organic product) again! PLEASE don’t ever stop selling this product or change anything about it!!!
