Fashion Designer Mike Vensel announces the debut of his new Wild Horses Spring 2010 Collection during Los Angeles Fashion Week

Mike Vensel is a minimalistic futurist focused on body conscious garments that showcase the body in a subtle yet sexy way that mimics nature. In his newest spring 2010 collection “wild horses” each garment is constructed from a single pattern piece and a single piece of fabric thus reducing seams and construction elements and stripping the garment to its core, this evolution of the brand beings a new phase in design titled volume 2 in which he moves to a more minimal yet more advanced ways of designing and thinking about the functionality of clothing. Wild horses integrates elements of sand washed silk, multi layered chiffon, organic cotton and elements of suede, feathers and fringe, drawing inspiration from the raw natural free spirit of wild horses while drawing inspiration from Halston’s 101 East 63rd street residence in New York City.
