FBLA AZ members meet with Senator McCain!

On Saturday, July 17th FBLA Arizona members from Benson High School met Senator John McCain and his wife Cindy. Danielle Kunst and Marleen Diaz had the opportunity to meet the Senator following a televised debate in Tucson, AZ for Senator McCain’s upcoming election. They received an invitation to an exclusive post-debate mixer through an FBLA supporter. The experience allowed Danielle and Marleen to not only meet Senator McCain and his wife Cindy, but they also had the opportunity to meet and interact with business and community leaders.

While a brief meeting, Danielle and Marleen were both excited to meet such influential leaders. Marleen Diaz said: “I’m grateful to FBLA for giving me the opportunity to meet Senator John McCain. I would have like to express my thoughts on certain issues with him but unfortunately we were short on time. Still, it was a great experience to meet the Senator and speak with other important business leaders.”
