FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) August 3, 2010 --
The class action lawsuit can be previewed at freedweiss.com and the complaint is similar to many other class action suits that eBay and its subsidiary company Paypal have chosen to settle out of court. A quick GOOGLE search of "paypal problems" returns an astounding number of similar complaints from AROUND THE WORLD! A common complaint is that Paypal freezes the customer account funds in Papypal user accounts without warning and keeps the funds for many months. This has in turn caused tremendous financial hardship to the account holders. According to Freed&Weiss individuals have been forced into foreclosure and bankruptcy as a result. During the time the funds are frozen, according to eBay's own SEC filings eBay uses its customers frozen funds to bankroll yet another large eBay subsidiary - billmelater.com. That company's largest customer is Wal-Mart. This information has been forwarded to Wal-Marts ethics board and it is currently under review by that body. eBays SEC filings reveal that is under scrutiny from many governement agencies in the US and abroad regarding its business practices. The suit (in its entirety) filed in US Federal District County in California can be found at www.freedweiss.com
