The launch of this program was brought on by the request from customers to do the final assembly of products before placing them in the bags that fieldtex was already making. Fieldtex is very excited to be able to offer this service to manufactures at a time when they are looking to cut labor costs and fight off growing health care costs.

Fieldtex Products Inc. was founded in 1973. The company is dedicated to manufacturing premium custom soft-sided cases and distributing Plastic protective cases. The addition of final assembly services became the logical next step for the company to offer. Before now Fieldtex’s carrying cases were just the final piece being shipped into a warehouse and placed at the end of an assembly line.

Today finished products have parts coming together from suppliers all over the world and they are put together like a puzzle. Requiring less skilled workforces then were needed in the past. This is opening the door to outsource the final assembly to a third party.
