Film Company Holds National Auditions at Premiere Chicago Dance Center

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 14, 2010 -- Chicago-based film company, Dreams On Screen, will host dance auditions on Saturday, October 16th, 2010 at Visceral Dance Center for its forthcoming sophomore film, DREAMS.

Inspired by true events, DREAMS, a faith-based-friendly film tells compelling stories of a dancer, rapper, ex-boxer, singer, and hustler struggling through everyday life to make their “dreams” come true.

Although hip-hop is the primary dance form, all styles and genres are welcome.

Currently in pre-production Dreams on Screen is looking for dance crews, groups of 3 to 7 preferred, and Individual dancers. If under18 years old, the dancer will need to have a guardian present. Target time for audition piece you are auditioning with is 3 minutes.
Auditions are being held Saturday, October 16, beginning at 5:45pm until 8:30pm, at Visceral Dance Center, one of the Midwest's premier dance facilities used by MTV and Broadway in Chicago's Dirty Dancing, located at 2820 N Elston at the intersection of Western and Diversey on Elston.

"We have so much talent in Chicago and the surrounding areas, I wanted to make sure that we featured the best of the best,” states Kapity. “We are looking for the hottest dancers for this film, PERIOD! If you are confident you can bring something powerful and unique to this film, then this audition is where you should be” states Kapity.

DREAMS will have worldwide distribution, and will be in full production November 12 thru December 13 2010. The entire film will be shot on location in Chicago.
