FilmEmerge Launches the Second Version of it's Online Film Production Portal

FilmEmerge has been a steady engine during that time of growth, offering visiting producers a web portal to access more than 4,000 local equipment providers, services, and production professionals.

FilmEmerge is a fast growing start-up by native son's Jonathan C Rayos and Jason Waterman. As CEO of Michigan's FilmEmerge, Rayos says, "we are building a celluloid bridge to Hollywood with hopes of revving up the flagging local economy."

Today, this film industry online resource for Michigan's film and entertainment industry offers more than 275 individual production categories, including a customizable profile with social media components, marketing-friendly URL to attach one's business name, customizable banner, job postings, personalized and up-loadable news, videos, area for verified film credits, and ability to share profiles with other social media sites.

FilmEmerge's co-founder and CTO Jason Waterman says that it has been the one glimmer of hope for much of the last two years. Waterman says, "From a technology standpoint, our online web portal is staying ahead of the needs of producers and talent."
