FINA World Cup Diving in London

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 18, 2012 -- In the 18th FINA Visa Diving World Cup 2012, approximately 250 world-class divers will be participating at the Aquatics Centre on the Olympic Park. This event is a part of London Prepares Series, the official London 2012 sports testing programme.This is the last qualification opportunity for the 2012 London Olympics Games.

The lineup will comprise of Chinese Olympic Champions He Chong and Chen Ruolin. In diving, China is currently ruling, whereas Australian Matt Mitcham could be threatening hopes for gold rush at World Cup. During the Beijing 2008 Diving competition, Mitcham is the only non-chinese athlete to won gold medal.

The British team named 13 athletes which comprises of Synchronised 10m pair Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield along with rising star Jack Laugher.
