FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Edison, New Jersey, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 11, 2010 -- Rosenthal wanted to connect with survivors who were diagnosed with a benign brain tumor, just like she had. She never came across anyone who could relate to her experience. She became discouraged when every internet search she made led to brain cancer and not benign tumors. Many individuals don't understand benign brain tumors and the effects that treatment has on a survivors' quality of life.

Rosenthal knew that these individuals had to be out there and decided that she wanted a website for benign brain tumor survivors. She created a 501(c)(3) nonprofit called It's Just Benign. This website, www.itsjustbenign.org, is a way to bring survivors together who understand the effects of these tumors.

Itsjustbenign.org, a social networking website, has already connected over 375 survivors. Other members are from South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada and everywhere else in the United States. Forums and blogs have been created and many topics discussed are finding a good neurosurgeon, weaning off of medications, pregnancy and adoption, and dating and other social situations are discussed. Rosenthal is so happy watching all these members connect. Most importantly she is ending the isolation that many benign brain tumor survivors feel and is helping include them in mainstream society.

It's Just Benign has introduced a line of T-shirts. The shirts come in green and brown and sizes run between S-3 XL. To see photos and details on how to purchase these shirts please visit itsjustbenign.org.

For more information on ways to support Itsjustbenign.org, please contact Beth Rosenthal through the website or by email beth.f.rosenthal@gmail.com.
