FIRST EVER FREE OUTDOOR “MOVIE UNDER THE MOON” EVENT IN GOVERNOR’S PARK, SPONSORED BY LALA’S WINE BAR AND PIZZERIA

Proceeds from concessions to benefit Casting for a Cure – a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Rett Syndrome

On Wednesday August 25th, 2010 bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets to Governor’s Park for an evening of fun and entertainment. Bottle Shock will be shown on a large projector screen at dusk. The festivities will begin at 6 pm with a beer garden featuring Peroni Italian Lager on draft and Lunetta Prosecco. Boxed picnic dinners, cheese plates and pizza slices will be sold for enjoyment in the park. After the movie concludes, head across the street to Lala’s for an after-movie happy hour featuring $20 bottles of wine.

The featured movie, Bottle Shock – is “Based on a true story of Love, Victory and Fermentation”. Bottle Shock is a 2008 American comedy-drama film based on the 1976 wine competition termed the "Judgment of Paris", when California wine defeated French wine in a blind taste test, forever changing the way the world enjoys wine. Bottle Shock is rated PG-13 and features a 1970’s soundtrack.

Proceeds from the sales of all concession items will be donated to Casting for a Cure in hope of finding a cure for Rett Syndrome. Rett syndrome is a neurological and developmental disorder that mostly occurs in females. Infants with Rett syndrome seem to grow and develop normally at first, but then stop developing and even lose skills and abilities.
