These one-of-a-kind workshop series will be held at the Cypress Inn in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California and benefits the Doris Day Animal Foundation—Duffy Day Life Saving Program (supported by the SPCA).

About Heather Hummel
Heather Hummel is an award-winning author in both fiction and nonfiction. Heather's published works include:

Heather is the host of the Vagabond’s House Inn Writers’ Retreat and the Cypress Inn First Person ~ First Impression workshops. Heather and/or her books have appeared in newspapers such as: Publishers Weekly, USA Today and the Washington Post; and in magazines that include: Body & Soul, First, and Spry Living—a combined circulation of nearly 15 million. Prior to becoming an author, Heather held careers as a high school English teacher and in office management.
A graduate with high distinction from the University of Virginia where she holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree with concentrations in English and secondary education, Heather is currently working toward a Ph.D. in Metaphysical Sciences. Additionally, Heather is ghostwriter and a writing coach to aspiring writers.
