Filmmaker Chad Valiant has done what no other American filmmaker has done: create a feature-length motion picture entirely on his own. In fact, only one other person in the world has done the unthinkable: write, direct, produce, edit and star in a feature-length film.

Now, he’s setting his sights on Hollywood. But first, he has one goal: obtain one million likes on the film’s Facebook page, before storming down Hollywood’s doors. Once he reaches one million likes, Chad plans to use that as a marketing tool when calling Hollywood. “The reason behind this strategy is very simple.”, he explains. “Hollywood is notoriously closed to outsiders. Many agents, managers and distributors won’t even consider looking at your film, unless you have a recognizable name starring. All I ask is for viewers to take a few minutes and watch the first 8 minutes. If they have even the slightest interest in seeing the film, then simply hit the like button. It’s that simple. The like button acts as a yes vote for seeing the film.”

‘Nervosa’ is an atmospheric horror-thriller set amidst the streets of New Orleans, as thousands of people have mysteriously vanished. As more people vanish, a lonely man takes a video camera and begins to document his search for the missing. However, strange things soon begin to happen inside his home in the middle of the night. The two events are somehow connected, and lead to a terrifying conclusion.

“I’ve got a long way to go!”, Chad laughs, referring to the number of likes needed. “But life is short, and if you’re going to follow your dream, then you should aim high.”
