(Free-Press-Release.com) January 18, 2010 --
Vancouver, BC Jonathan Lerner of ‘Fit Body Boot Camp, Vancouver’, announces the February 13, 2010 ‘Burn the Fat, Feed the Hungry’ three hour Boot-Camp-A-Thon aimed to raise money for Mission Possible to hel provide food and shelter for the homeless and to promote fitness as part of a healthy lifestyle.
“Local charities and non-profit organizations have been hit hard by the current economic state and this has drastically decreased the amount of donations being made. So why not take down two birds with one stone? I am encouraging our own local neighbors to come out for a one day, three hour Boot Camp workout. It will only be a $25 fee where 100% of the proceeds will go to Mission Possible, a charity focused on helping to feed the hungry and provide shelter for those in East Vancouver. – this is fitness with a purpose,” says Jonathan Lerner, certified strength/fitness coach and owner of Fit Body Boot Camp, Vancouver.
The three hour Boot-Camp-A-Thon we be taking place from 8:00AM to 11:00AM at 1634 W 75th Ave (Marpole area). All participants are welcome to workout at their own pace for as little as fifteen minutes or, for those up to the challenge, for the entire three hours. I strive to provide a non-military, fun, motivating and inspiring atmosphere so you can both enjoy the workout and burn fat and firm and tone the entire body.
Each participant will walk away from the workout having a clearer understanding of fitness and weight loss concepts, they will be able to disregard myths running rampant in the industry and they will have a feeling of accomplishment knowing they helped a worthwhile cause.
In addition, every participant will receive the “Ultimate Tone-It-Up Nutrition Guide,” for free, designed to help make healthy dietary choices simple.
The “Burn the Fat, Feed the Hungry” Boot Camp starts Saturday, February 13th from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a $25 donation. The workout will take place at Midnight Cheer Athletics, Cheerleading facility in South Vancouver. Jonathan Lerner requests donations be paid by cheque and be made out to Mission Possible. Donations will be collected on the morning of the Boot Camp.
“Mission Possible does so much to feed and assist those in East Vancouver who are in need of help so this is just a fun and social way to introduce an alternative to the boring gym workouts and at the same time help out a worthwhile cause,” explains Jonathan Lerner. “Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning than having a fun and energizing workout while giving back at the same time.”
Jonathan Lerner can be contacted at (778) 389-6677 for more information.
