San Jose, CA -- Fit Body Boot Camp in San Jose, announces the February 13, 2010 ‘Burn the Fat, Feed the Hungry’ three hour Boot Camp aimed to raise money for the San Jose Family Shelter and to promote fitness as part of a healthy lifestyle.

“Donations to charities in the San Jose area are down dramatically since the collapse of the housing market and downturn in the economy. Couple that with the stark reality that the majority of Americans are overweight and it was a no brainer for us to combine two worthwhile efforts into one event. Encouraging local neighbors to come down for a one day three hour Boot Camp workout where 100% of the $25 entry fee will go to the San Jose Family Shelter to help feed the hungry and give families a place to live while they get back on their feet again, was too good of a cause to pass up,” says Chris Fernandez, celebrity personal trainer and CEO of Fit Body Boot Camp in San Jose.

The “Burn the Fat, Feed the Hungry” Boot Camp starts Saturday, February 13th from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a $25 donation. The workout will take place indoors at the West Velley Gymnastic School located at 1190 Dell Ave, Campbell, CA.

Participants are welcome to workout at their own pace for as little as fifteen minutes or, for those up to the challenge, for the entire three hours. Activities include fun exercises in a group atmosphere designed to burn fat and firm and tone the entire body, along with free massages, refreshments and other gifts from local and national sponsors. The San Jose Family Shelter will also be on hand to take donations and answer questions.

Every participant will walk way from this workout and charity event with a better understanding of fitness and weight-loss concepts, a feeling of accomplishment and knowledge they helped a worthwhile cause.
