First, packaging and labels

Our country mandates that LED Lighting manufacturers must mark the following items in the outer package: the rated voltage, voltage range, rated power, rated frequency. In general, a trademark of high-quality products is of good printing quality, legible typeface, not falling, and the signs can be legible by scrubbing with soft damp cloth. Moreover, there are trademark and the related certification mark on them. Otherwise, the products will be inferior.

Second, the appearance of LED tube

The real energy-saving LED lights is three-colored tube with white tube. If you cover the tubes by hand, they will be whiter. In addition, several tubes can be put together, and the tubes with better and more consistent shapes and sizes will be the shape like bending machine. Most of them are mass-produced products. Good consistency of the products ensures the quality and maintenance of interchangeability. Of course, the cracks or scratches between the interfaces can’t be on the appearance. The lamp should not be loose during the process of installation and dismount.
The plastic casing of lights must choose flame-retard engineering plastics. Ordinary plastic is flammable and it is easy to deform, which is prohibited for the production of energy-saving lamps. From the surface we can identify both of them simply; the surface of the latter is more smooth and shiny, while the former surface is similar to frosted glass.

Third, working temperature

The temperature of LED Tube Light should rise slowly in the normal operation. Otherwise, its lifespan will be very short. Meanwhile, if a quick flashing or a harsh fluctuation happens when energy-saving lamp is lit, which indicates the energy-saving lamps are of questionable quality.

Fourth, start-up performance
LED tube lights startup has two characteristics: First, the higher the temperature the easier the startup; second, there is no flash when light turns off. Also worth mentioning is that many LED energy-saving light opens darkly at the beginning, which is detrimental to lamp life. LED energy-saving lamps should be equipped with power supply circuit and PCB board.

Fifth, interference

In China, EMC is the must of the electrical items. However, the detection of this project is very complex. Users should have a look at the packaging to see whether electromagnetic compatibility tested by the national symbol or not when purchasing lamps; second, when light works, placing a short-wave radio near the light and the lower noise short-wave radio stations makes, the better electromagnetic compatibility will be.
