(Free-Press-Release.com) June 13, 2010 -- There will be a patriotic National Flag Day celebration "flag wave" Monday, June 14th from 4:30 - 6:00 PM, at the corner of Roosevelt Drive and Cypress Gardens Boulevard, (5700 Cypress Gardens Boulevard), Winter Haven, Florida.

June 14th was established as Flag Day in 1916, by presidential proclamation, by then President Woodrow Wilson, to commemorate the adoption of the flag of the United States by the Second Continental Congress in 1777. In August 1949, the United States Congress officially recognized June 14th as National Flag Day, by an Act of Congress.
