Florida Man Wins Honda Civic In SwipeAuctions.com Monthly New Car Contest

Boston -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Sep 10, 2010 -- SwipeAuctions.com announced today that it has given a brand new Honda Civic to a Florida man who won their monthly contest.

“Our car contest has proven to be extremely popular,” Kevin, a company spokesman, said. “We are proud that this, and all our other contests, continue to reward our most dedicated members.”

Due to its privacy policy, the company will only identify the Florida man by his username – PBH201. This is the third month in a row that SwipeAuctions.com has given away a new Honda Civic.

SwipeAuctions.com is a penny auction site, where members purchase blocks of bids they can spend on auctions for consumer products. Each time they spend a bid the price of the product goes up by a penny and time is added to the clock. The last person to place a bid wins the item at the final price.

But, unlike other penny auction sites, SwipeAuctions.com does not stop there. They also have hourly, daily and monthly contests for their members. The contests are not based on how many auctions a member wins but on how often he or she participates in the auctions.

The grand prize for the monthly contest is always a Honda Civic. In addition to the monthly auction, PBH201 also won many hourly and daily auctions in July, netting himself 10 MacBook and one iMac in the process.

“These contests are a way for us to let our members know that we respect the time and effort they put into participating in our auctions,” Kevin said. “We are more than happy to reward them for their ongoing loyalty.”

SwipeAuctions.com always announces their monthly winners roughly 30 days after the contest has ended. This gives them time to interview and take pictures of the winning member. They will announce their August Honda Civic winner later this month.
