LOS ANGELES, California (December 9, 2011) Acclaimed fashion designer Mark Zunino and QVC will launch the designer’s new label, “The Mark Of Style,” live tonight on the channel’s “Lisa’s Posh Presents” (10PM EST/7PM PST). The show, hosted by Lisa Robertson, will be the public debut of the collection’s first design. The first piece is already available for purchase at the channel’s online site. Several new pieces will debut on-air and online over the next weeks and months. This will lead to the premiere of the designer’s full hour-long show on the wildly popular shopping channel.

Mark Zunino began designing with famed couturier Nolan Miller in 1987 after graduating from Pepperdine University. Zunino eventually bought out the company and took creative control of the private couturier business, rebranding it Mark Zunino Couture. In recent years, Zunino has dressed Hollywood A-listers such as Angelina Jolie, Eva Mendes, P!nk, Nikki Minaj and the cast of “Desperate Housewives” as well as Hollywood icons Sophia Loren and Elizabeth Taylor.

Mark Zunino and QVC have an extensive history together, dating back 19 years with the debut of the jewelry line “The Nolan Miller Glamour Collection.” The line was QVC’s longest-running and most successful program, with Zunino designing the line and appearing as its on-air spokesperson. “The Mark Of Style by Mark Zunino” will be the designer’s first solo ready to wear collection outside of his exclusive couture design house. His couture designs have been seen for years on QVC models as well as on QVC host Lisa Robertson.

Designed by Zunino and manufactured in conjunction with Elaine Lai of Lai Apparel, the line will have a price point of $35 to $200. The collection will include pieces that range from day-to-evening wear. Zunino describes the line as “sophisticated silhouettes on fabrications with hand-painted patterns of unexpected color combinations, making this collection the ultimate in progressive sophistication.” On making his fashion designs accessible to a larger audience, Zunino couldn’t be more excited. “Feeling beautiful shouldn’t be limited to anyone simply because of the price. I’m thrilled to be able to reach more women with this collection and to be a part of their wardrobes.”
