The Downtown Art Center (DAC) Gallery presents Catalyst & Mark, a group exhibition examining how the innate, hyper-focused creative impulse is the catalyst for refreshingly contemporary art.

The exhibition features 12 ECF Art Center Artists whose work incorporates organic and intuitive mark making. These works exemplify the meditative results of the Artists' hand without confines and without pretense. Their marks, whether frenetic or instinctive, provide the aesthetic thread which weaves together abstract and installation based projects.
The ECF Art Center Program is a non-profit organization which has been mentoring adult artists with developmental disabilities for over 30years. For more information please visit www.ecf.net.
