Former NFL Player and University of Notre Dame Alum Bob Crable will be the guest speaker at ND 50th Anniversary Dinner.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - September 29, 2010 - Utica, New York. Utica, Notre Dame so rich in tradition, pride and integrity. Would like to welcome guest speaker for their 50th Anniversary, Mr. Bob Crable. "So rare is it to get the chance to have someone of Bob's caliber and commitment to catholic education being our guest speaker" says Notre Dame Alumni Director Jimmy Jones. Mr. Crable is a 1978 graduate of Archbishop Moeller High School with an accomplished high school football career. His football teams won 3 consecutive football state championships and compiled a three season record of 36-0. He also attended University of Notre Dame from 1978 - 1982, where he was a All-America pick in both 1980 and 1981 and still holds school records for most tackles in a season 187 and a game 26 vs. Clemson. Mr. Crable was also drafted in the first round by the NY Jets where be played 7 seasons. After his time in the NFL Mr. Crable then returned to his high school alma mater, Moeller High School where he taught religion for 17 years and coached the football team from 2000 - 2007. Mr. Crable will also take part in the football game ceremonies on Saturday against Ilion High School. Notre Dame will be inducting into its Sports Hall of Fame 3 different undefeated teams from past years, Class of 1969, 1973 and 1983. In addition to the ceremonies Mr. Crable will also be available for autographs as well.
