A former WWF wrestler known for signature moves such as the Hangman's Neckbreaker and the Powerbomb and the man who displayed disturbing behavior hearing and speaking to voices during his matches has made his announcement that he will be holding a special auction on EBAY.
Phil Theis, known as Damian Demento who wrestled in the first MAIN EVENT for the long lived Monday Night Raw program back in 1993 will be auctioning off his trademark shoulder pads. This is a special item which can be acquired by serious WWF collectors or anyone who wants to make a bid by attending the online auction.
The auction will begin 9 PM EST Thursday Night January 7th, 2010 and end Monday night, 9 PM EST January 11th, 2010 right before the 17th anniversary MONDAY NIGHT RAW show begins.
Theis says, "the starting price will be $5000 and ALL monies will be donated to the USO, a non-profit organization which supplies social, recreational, welfare, and spiritual facilities to members of the armed forces. All expenses, (shipping, EBAY amd Paypal fees) related to this auction will not be deducted from the auction price but WILL be paid for by an anonymous contributor."
This is a rare opportunity to acquire items from the original Monday Night Raw days and the WWF as well as have the monies go to a great cause. BE sure to make your bid for these ONE OF A KIND shoulder pads worn by DAMIAN DEMENTO.
