Fort McDowell Adventures Hosts February Charity Event with Fountain Hills High School

(FreePressRelease.com) February 13, 2012 — Fort McDowell Adventures is pleased to announce the sponsorship of an evening of Old West fun, franks on the fire and merriment supporting the Fountain Hills High School (http://fountainhillsschools.org/) Chapter of Family Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chosen non-profit cause; The Arizona Association of Foster & Adoptive Parents (http://azafap.org/).

The event entitled “Old West Adventure” is slated for Friday February 24, 2012 from 5-10pm and is part of a year-long schedule of activities and fundraising events coordinated by the local chapter of FCCLA. Coinciding with Fort McDowell Adventures weekly “Friday Night Franks” celebration, this special event will play host to 250+ local foster children who will enjoy live entertainment, a real cowboy cookout under the stars featuring wiener roasts and s’mores, as well as games, activities and horse-drawn wagon hayrides for those attending. Fort McDowell Adventures is assuming 100% of the cost of the evening’s events, activities and food and beverage for the Arizona Association of Foster & Adoptive Parents’ recipients. Fort McDowell Adventures invites the community to join in the fun. Admission is free for the public with an assortment of food and beverage options for purchase by the public.
