El Dorado Hills, CA November. 20, 2011–Forte Holdings, Inc., one of the nation’s leading providers of award-winning medical patient relationship and practice management software programs for the chiropractic field, has launched a new version of its Chiro 8000 all-in-one billing software in order to allow clients to meet new federal requirements for upgrading current software by 2012.
Forte Holdings President Anthony Schwartz said the company has released an updated version of its Chiro 8000 Patient Relationship software to accommodate The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) latest requirements for upgrades to the ANSI 5010 version of electronic medial billing software already adopted under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996.
Under the new guidelines, all electronic health care transactions must be managed through an upgraded version of the ANSI 4101A1, with testing and migration to the new ANSI 5010 completed by January 2012. Migration to the ANSI 5010 version is said to be necessary to improve overall accuracy in payment turn-around and claims data and to allow providers to better handle final system conversions by 2013.
Forte Holdings is offering version 13 of the ANSI 5010, which will fully meet these new requirements, said Schwartz.
“Our new version of billing software incorporates many new features that will allow our clients to enhance their capacity to meet all federal standards and compliance rules for the 2012 conversion mandates,” said Schwartz. “Recognizing the shifting concerns by the federal government that our clients meet new compliance standards, we are consistently working to build on our popular Chiro 8000 software series and capitalize on existing technologies to help our clients remain as current and prepared as possible for the final conversion process.”
HIPAA mandates require medical professionals to adopt electronic health care billing practices by 2012 in order to qualify for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements, which include electronic practices for electronic billing and claims processing. Many healthcare professionals had already begun or completed the conversion using the older software and will now need to make the upgrades. Schwartz said the Chiro 8000 series, which has received numerous acclaimed Chiro8000 reviews and accolades over the years, is fully capable of allowing current and new clients to do so.
“We are here to help all Chiro 8000 users with our new 5010 version,” said Schwartz. “Our version 13 meets every requirement to help elevate transaction uniformity, support new pay-for-performance specifications and streamline reimbursement transactions,” Schwartz said.
