Frank S. Chuang Performed In-Depth Inspection Of Bridges

The former chairman & CEO of L-C Associates, Frank S. Chuang is presently serving as the General Partner and President (QC/QA) of L-C Associates. He has been actively involved in the planning and design of over $5 billion of transportation, civil and environmental related projects. Frank holds a vast experience in the fields of transit and transportation and has worked on numerous projects including highway design, rail facilities design, bridge inspection, hydraulic study and traffic study across the New York and New England regions. He graduated from the National Taiwan University and later, attended the University of Massachusetts to receive his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1968 and doctorate in 1971.

Frank S. Chuang also served as the sub-consultant at L-C Associates, whereby, along with his team, he helped the firm provide highly efficient services to many large businesses, resulting in the success of the company and helping it get repeat business. As a project manager, Frank S. Chuang participated in numerous engineering projects in the State of Connecticut, State of New York, State of Rhode Island, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, etc. As a part of Connecticut Statewide Complex Bridge Biennial Bridge Safety Inspection Program, he performed in-depth inspection of bridges and carried out load rating analysis for the inspected bridges. In addition to this, he also prepared inspection reports according to the requirements of the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
