Fred Smilek Wants Your Garbage for His Art Project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 14, 2009 -- 9/9/09 Eugene, Oregon – Fred Smilek, active president and founder of the Society to Save Endangered Species, is requesting local citizens to donate their recyclables and otherwise unwanted materials to his latest endeavor to help the environment. “The plan is very simple-people donate their recyclables and unwanted materials to our organization and we will then put it in the hands of very capable and very talented artists,” said an enthused Mr. Smilek.

While green efforts have increased all around the world, the number of littered and reusable materials that go not recycled is still high. The project will be a method of keeping recycled materials out of landfills and will hopefully serve as a public recreation area. Currently, there are two visions for the materials; a sculpture garden or one large terrarium/aviary. Those donating will be catalogued and upon the project’s completion, the recordings will be made publicly visible as a part of the structure.
